All Packages and Offers are subject to availability, are at the Hotel’s discretion and certain dates may be excluded. Packages and Offers may not be used in conjunction with any other packages, offers or promotions.
Only a proportion of the hotel’s rooms at any time may be available under select Packages and Offers. Where there is no availability for a Package or Offer on a certain date, standard room rate options will apply.
Packages and Offers are all pre-payable in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable and non-transferable. At the Hotel’s discretion Packages and Offers may be amended to an alternative date in exceptional circumstances though an admin charge of £20 would apply and the new date if advertised for a higher rate would increase to that level.
All residents benefit from free access to the Retreat Health Club facilities which are open every day. Children’s swim times are 8-10am and 2-6pm daily, outside of these times, the pool area is for over 18’s only. Towels and changing facilities are provided. Valuables should never be stored in the lockers which require a £1 coin to operate. Access is from 3pm on the day of arrival until 11am on the day of departure.
Unless otherwise stated, all Packages and Offers offering overnight stays are based on 2 adults sharing a room. Family Packages and Offers are based on 2 adults and up to 2 children staying in a purpose designed family room. If additional child spaces or cots are required, guests are required to inform the hotel directly on booking.
The inclusions within each offer will be exactly as specified in the offer detail itself. Breakfast, where included and unless otherwise stated, shall be a buffet breakfast selection, including a continental and full English breakfast offering. Room service breakfast incurs a £5 tray charge.
Dinner, where included and unless otherwise stated, shall be a £32 per person food allowance from our 1744 Restaurant Menu. This can only be used against food items shown and not drinks. Any additional charges incurred along with drinks and our discretionary 12.5% service charge should be settled in the Restaurant or charged to your room if applicable. Table reservations are strongly recommended to be made in advance via www.redworthhalldurham.co.uk to secure your preferred times.
Children can order from our Children’s Menu which offers dishes for both smaller and growing children. Dishes are charged as taken. Should a child wish to dine from the main menu then the full prices shown would apply for their meal. Portions would be the same as for adults.
We are able to cater for all dietary requirements and allergies. For complex needs please contact the hotel directly.
Guests are welcome to use their £32 per person dinner allowance on food ordered from our Lounge Menu, served in the Cocktail bar or nearby lounge areas. Alternatively the allowance can be used on Room Service food items. All room service orders outside of breakfast hours attract a tray charge of £7.50
The Hotel has a small number of rooms which are specified as dog friendly and pets may only accompany guests who have a pre-booked dog friendly bedroom. There is a nightly charge of £25 per dog per night. Dogs are not permitted in the Restaurant and Retreat Lounge, but can be present in the main bar and adjacent lounges as long as they are well behaved and do not disturb other customers. Owners are responsible for ensuring their pet does not cause disturbance to other residents notably if leaving them alone in their bedroom and must provide a mobile contact number to reception.

Stay Your Way Sustainability Initiative
Any skipped cleans must be registered with reception with 1 x drink per person per skipped room clean available upon a minimum 2-night stay. Eligible drinks must be redeemed in hotel restaurant or bar and include 1 x 25ml glass of house wine, 1 x draught soft drink, 1 x bottle of beer or 1 x single measure house spirit and mixer. Alcohol for over 18’s only. No cash alternative.

This will ensure you have ample time to relax and prepare, as late arrivals will unfortunately shorten your treatment duration. Health Considerations: Even though you’ve indicated no significant medical conditions, completing and signing our health questionnaire is essential before your treatment. This helps us tailor our services to your needs. If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us prior to your visit. Mobile Phones: To preserve a serene atmosphere, we kindly ask that you set your mobile phone to silent mode. Should you need to take a call, please be considerate of fellow guests. Jewellery and Valuables: Many of our treatments involve removing jewellery, so we recommend leaving valuables at home. While lockers are available in the changing areas, please note they are not high-security, and we advise keeping your possessions at your own risk. You will need £1 or trolley token for the lockers. Communication with Therapists: Your comfort is our priority. Let your therapist know if you have any preferences regarding light, music volume, or if you prefer to chat or enjoy a quiet experience. Feel free to request specific adjustments in pressure or treatment areas. Our experienced therapists are here to make your visit as enjoyable as possible, so don’t hesitate to share your needs or concerns. What to Wear and Modesty: For your comfort, ensure your skin and underwear are dry before your treatment. If you have any modesty concerns, your therapist will ensure you are comfortably draped, exposing only the areas being treated. Male clients should keep their underwear on, while female clients should remove their bras but retain their underwear. Payment and Cancellation Policy: All bookings are pre-paid. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know more than 72 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 72 hours will incur the full charge. Additional Information: Join us for a 45-minute aqua aerobics class held in the pool on Mondays and Fridays at 11 am. Our daily children’s swim times are from 8 am to 10 am and 2 pm to 6 pm; please be aware that these times can be busier with families during school holidays.
